All final year student teachers are currently engaged in their macro teaching practice at their assigned schools. Macro teaching has proven to be crucial for student teachers as it fosters confidence and enhances their professionalism in the teaching profession. As a result, student teachers are eager to find out the completion date for their macro teaching activities.
The Macro teaching phase began on January 14th, 2024, and it spans the entire semester for all final year trainees. During this phase, trainees will not have to write any exams. Instead, they will focus on practical teaching experiences in a real classroom environment. The goal is to equip them with valuable teaching skills and knowledge that they can apply in their future careers as educators. According to the academic calendar released by ITECPD, Level 400 student Teachers will complete their Macro teaching on April 5th, 2024. This date marks the end of their first semester in the final year of their teacher training program.
After the completion of the Macro teaching phase on April 5th, 2024, Level 400 student Teachers will begin their second semester, which is also their final semester.
This phase is scheduled to commence on June 2nd, 2024 and will continue until September 7th, 2024.
