2024/2025 GES teaching staff promotion application portal is opened

The GES has officially commenced acceptance of promotion applications for the 2024/2025 cycle, providing qualified candidates with the prospect to ascend the hierarchy and embrace fresh challenges in their professional voyage.
Under reference number GES/HR/PR19/24/02, the GES is currently seeking applications from qualified serving Officers/Teachers for potential promotion to esteemed positions within the education service. These positions range from Deputy Director to Assistant Director I and II, as well as Principal Superintendent.
Qualifications for Application
- Deputy Director applicants must have achieved the Assistant Director I grade by 2019 and demonstrated consistent service in that capacity since then, excluding approved leaves of absence
- Assistant Director I candidates should have been promoted to Assistant Director II by 2019 and maintained uninterrupted service since then, with the exception of approved leaves of absence.
- Assistant Director II: Candidates vying for this role must have reached the rank of Principal Superintendent by 2019 and have consistently maintained that position since then, with the only exceptions being approved leaves of absence.
- Principal Superintendent: Aspiring candidates for the position of Principal Superintendent should have attained the rank of Senior Superintendent I by the year 2019 and must have diligently maintained this status with uninterrupted service, except for approved leaves of absence.
Officers/Teachers with Master’s Degrees and Ph.D. qualifications
If you hold a Master’s or Ph.D. qualification, here are some additional considerations:
1. Your degree program should be on the approved GES course of study.
2. The Master’s/Ph.D. certificate should not have been obtained before your previous promotion.
3. For promotion to Assistant Director I, Assistant Director II, and Deputy Director, Master’s/Ph.D. certificates should have been obtained on or before 2021.

1. Complete the application form.
2. Upload a clear, passport-sized photograph.
3. Upload only your last Promotion, Upgrading, or Appointment Letter.
4. If applicable, upload your Master’s/Doctorate Degree certificate.
5. Ensure all documents are in PDF format, except for the photograph.
